Intentional Hook By Innisbrook
First, align your body to the right (left for left-handers) of the target. Then align the clubface to the target, which in relation to your bodylines will be closed. Make your normal swing. Because the path of your arms will follow your bodylines, the path of your arms will be to the right of the target (left for left-handers). This will make the initial direction of the ball go to the right of the target. Because the clubface position is closed, the ball will curve (hook) back to the target. By closing the clubface, you also reduce the effective loft of the club, causing your shots to fly lower and farther. Keep that in mind when making your club selection.
